Silver and steel. Gallonized handle and scabbard. On the handle, a band, where the initials of its original owner were engraved: "J. C. R." The scabbard, with toe and lock chiseled with leaf and scroll motifs. In the latter we also see the same initials engraved. Measurements. Blade length: 12.7 cm / 5 in. Total length: 24.7 cm / 9.72 in.
Without identification of authorship, the execution of the chiselling stands out, made from highest to lowest. The "INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" punches and the metal used: 800 are on the locket.
Leaf with the brand "C. A. Allende", from the great leaf smith of the city of Tandil, creator in 1943 of the La Movediza leaf factory together with Timoteo Marquina. After making it the best-known national brand, Carlos Allende moved away from the trade to pursue his other passion: sculpture. Here on a blade with his personal stamp.
