Surely this work was part of a family library at the end of the Viceroyalty of Río de la Plata or at the beginning of the emancipation process, intended for reading by the parents of the home, committed to the good education of their children. By way of lay catechisms, these titles were a publishing success in their time, to the point that the great London publisher, Rudolph Ackermann, published them in Spanish for sale on Spanish-American soil.
