The Album deals with Italy and her relationship with Argentina, which was already celebrating its centenary when Italy was about to celebrate its half century of political and territorial unification. The link between both countries is manifested in various fields; culturally, socially and economically. In the latter, he addresses in bilingual texts the development and commercial ties with Argentina of important Italian companies, ranging from a shipping company to a herbalist supplier, including the Marsala Wine Fattoria, represented in Argentina by the Peters Hermanos Commerce House.

He particularly deals with education in Italy, and also with commercial relations that are manifested in the publishing world. He also addresses the migratory movement of Italians abroad with a comment on the patronages created in Argentina, focused on helping the nationals living here.

It includes an extensive article by Luigi Callari on "Italian Artists at the Centennial Exhibition", a relevant submission that included painting and sculpture.
