Rare. Complete work in two volumes, Octavo (14.5 x 8.3 cm / 5.7 x 3.26 in), Morocco binding, with leather spine and gilded titles. Vol. I: VII pp., (Includes Title page, blank), 1 sheet., 350 pp., 1 folded map, 2 Plates. Vol II: viii (includes Title page, blank) 1 sheet, 350 pp., 5 plates. Suarez, n. 9418. Santos Gómez, n. 180, he did not find it in any private library, only in the reservoirs of the Academia Argentina de Letras and the Miter Museum. A copy that belonged to the library of the aviation pioneer, Brigadier General Ángel María Zuloaga.


Important encyclopedic study referring to Brazil and Buenos Aires. The publishers launched this collection, spanning numerous countries, addressed in separate books. Regarding our territories, the title offered here not only describes the land of the Empire of Brazil and Buenos Aires, but also includes the coastal area: Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Misiones, the Chaco, Santa Fe and even Paraguay. The eastern territory, for its part, is within the dominions of Brazil. We read in the bibliographic sources consulted by their authors, Ackermann's Vidal published in 1820, the Wilcocke of 1807, the Brackenridge of 1820, the Gillespie of 1819 and the Rodney & Graham, also of 1819.
