It was published between 1908 and 1911. The newspaper reproduced with great technical resolution numerous works (paintings, engravings, drawings, etc.) belonging to the National Historical Museum's heritage. Trichomies and cytochromies were performed in the Weiss and Preusche workshops.

The Argentine Historical Illustration is perhaps the most important editorial work referring to Argentine history in terms of the reproduction of manuscripts and printed matter of the time, as well as the iconography of those episodes. Without a doubt, a wonderful source of information for any bibliophile, historian and interested in our history.

Notes:

1. In the second stage 5 numbers were published and extremely rare, a supplement.
