It is a special edition held in homage to the Inter-American Peacebuilding Conference, which met on the occasion in Buenos Aires. It contains the texts of the Ecuadorian authorities and a large number of articles on the historical and contemporary circumstances of the Andean country, as well as a tribute from this country to all the American nations participating in said Conference. Among them are the procedures in the debates on the jurisdictional limits with Peru and a series of notes that reflect the X-ray of the country's situation in the productive field. On the one hand, the references to the state and private banking system, industrial establishments with a peculiar emphasis on sugar mills and oil production, also extending to gold laundering and gold mining in general. It is complemented by mentions of agricultural crops, cereals and fruit trees, and especially sheep farming. They exemplify manufacturing developments in footwear, brewery and tobacco. The geographical part incorporates monographs on various cities, art, tourism and history, as well as ethnographic components of the Amazonian area of ​​Ecuador.

As in the previous century editions that were sent to Universal Exhibitions from our provinces, in the same way, the Ecuadorian government published this work in an effort to spread its virtues and hopes as a nation.
