Annie Brassey (1839 - 1887), an intrepid woman, ahead of her time, traveled the world with her family on the Sunbeam. As a result of those experiences lived in the years 1876-1877, she published several books with real publishing success already in her time. In A Voyage in the Sunbeam, the first of the edited titles, he dealt with detailed notes on the voyage and the episodes lived aboard the ship; the expedition was made up of about forty crew members, including sailors, family, friends and a number of domestic staff.
